Very good food - a must try is the smoked salmon and crayfish starter and from mains the beef stroganoff and the sirloin steak. We went to the restaurant two days in a row and I'm glad we did! Lovely service (helpful and smiling), amazing atmosphere and I imagine that the lake view in the daylight must be wonderful.
Wonderful resort restaurant. Great food and service yet again, well done everyone.. The staff are super friendly and hard working. They made the two nights we spent in there very enjoyable, especially the Thursday night when the resident singer was performing. Nice to see the outdoor area open on a sunny day and people being able to take their dogs onto there for lunch or just a drink.
The staff are friendly and there’s a beautiful view and atmosphere. The food is really delicious!
We had a lovely dinner here on Good Friday and lunch in the sunshine on the dog-friendly terrace overlooking the loch on Easter Sunday. Both meals were very tasty and well presented. The Salmon Parcel starter and Venison main course was particularly well enjoyed. The staff were friendly and the views over the loch are truly amazing. This is one of the best restaurants in the area.
We had lunch on a whim (kitchen was about to close but they graciously accommodated us). We thought the food would be average based on past reviews but perhaps they have a new chef as the food was fantastic. We had soup, grilled fish, burgers, pasta.
Friendly service from busy staff. My sausage and mash with onion gravy was the one to go for. But others enjoyed their choices too. Croque monsieur was not too authentic though - more a toasted cheese and ham sandwich.
